The Easy-DAW Mix Coach studies every track, every plugin, and your master chain — then suggests small, musical moves for the plugin you're editing right now. You always Preview first, and every suggestion has an Apply, Explain, or Dismiss action.
The coach sees your tempo, track list, plugin chains, and master processing before it makes a suggestion.
Preview first
Never auto-applies
Every AI suggestion pairs with a Preview button so you confirm with your ears — not because a graph told you to.
Explains itself
Understand every move
Tap Explain on any suggestion to see the reasoning in plain, warm language. Ear-first, no dB jargon.
Session memory
Never repeats itself
Dismissed a suggestion? The coach remembers for the rest of your session and steers around it next time.
How AI mixing works in Easy-DAW
Open any native plugin (EQ, Compressor, Limiter, Reverb, Delay). Tap the "Mix Coach" panel to fetch up to three project-aware suggestions. Preview any one to hear the change; Apply it, or Dismiss to move on. The AI never modifies your mix on its own — you own every decision.
What makes it different from auto-mix tools
Traditional auto-mixers slam a preset chain on every track. Easy-DAW's coach explains itself, remembers your context, and stays out of your way when the mix already sounds tight. It is a mentor, not a robot.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI hear my audio?
The coach reads your project metadata — track names, plugin chains, tempo, and current parameter values — not the raw audio bytes. Your recordings stay on your account.
Can I turn AI mixing off?
Yes. The Mix Coach panel is collapsed by default and every action is optional. Ignore it and Easy-DAW behaves like a normal DAW.
How many AI suggestions can I use per day?
Free accounts get 20 AI requests per day. Creator plans get 200. Pro and Studio plans are fair-use unlimited. The current usage is shown at the bottom of the coach panel.
