Questions?

Do I need to install anything?
No — easy-daw runs entirely in your browser. A native desktop Companion Studio for lower-latency recording and monitoring is available as a Closed Beta from the Downloads page.
How real-time is the collaboration?
Edits sync via Yjs CRDT over WebSocket in tens of milliseconds. Voice chat uses WebRTC peer-to-peer.
Can I export finished tracks?
Yes — full mixdowns or per-track stems in WAV (up to 24-bit / 96 kHz) or MP3, with every built-in effect applied.
Who can hear my project?
Only you and the collaborators you explicitly invite. Public /listen links can be added and optionally protected with a passcode.
What plugins can I use?
easy-daw ships built-in native effects (EQ, Compressor, Gate, Saturation, Reverb, Delay, Soft Clip, Limiter). Native VST3 / AU / CLAP plugin hosting is scaffolded inside the Companion Studio but requires vendor SDK licences before public launch.
