EasyDAW respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
1. Filing a DMCA Notice
To report a work you own that is being infringed on the Service, send a written notice to our Designated Agent (below) that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and enough information to let us locate it (e.g. the project ID, /listen link, or a screenshot).
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Designated Agent

3. Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and its former location.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which you live (or, if outside the U.S., the district in which EasyDAW is located).
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
EasyDAW may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
5. Misuse
Submitting a false DMCA notice may expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you are unsure whether the use is infringing, consult an attorney before filing.
